I have been experimenting with limiting my already limited dairy intake and was eager to try Anima Mundi Herbals Coconut Cream Powder as soon as I saw The Rasa Life instagram feed. I took a cooking class at Haven's Kitchen with some friends last spring called, "Good food that's Good for You", and Mia of The Rasa Life was one of the instructors. I loved her approach and philosophy to food. She made healthy eating seem even more approachable and totally doable in an enjoyable way. I immediately followed her in Instagram and explored her website. I must admit I have a bit of a foodie/health crush on The Rasa Life. 

Ok, let's get back to this cream powder. I use it in tea and coffee when I feel I should lay off dairy for one reason or another. I even brought some on a recent epic adventure in Iceland so that as long as I could get hot water, I could always have a cup of tea with honey and a bit of creamer no matter where we were or what hotel we were staying at. (Yes, I also packed my favorite Yorkshire Gold Tea bags and picked up some local honey our first day in Iceland) 

Another reason it is great for travel is because you know what you are putting in your tea or coffee. I always opt for whole milk from grass fed cows at home as it is just so much better for you than non-grass fed dairy. But when you are traveling, that can be hard to come by so with this creamer, while not as thick as milk, you know what you are getting. 

The end result is not quite as thick and creamy as whole milk or half and half would be but it does smooth the drink out in a similar way without dairy! Plus, all it is made out of is organic coconut meat so you are not getting any nasties while you are getting added healthy fats and fiber! Win win in my book. I am also fond of the very faint coconut flavor with makes my hot cup of tea all the more cozy feeling. 

It is a now a staple in my cupboard, and when I travel, and I highly recommend you try it to!!
